Puddleducks Day Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. We cater for children from 0-5 years, with additional holiday care for children up to 8 years. Puddleducks Day Nursery is a well-established Nursery, open for many years with long standing staff.

Located minutes from the sea front and town centre in Worthing, our Nursery is set in a large Victorian style converted house in a residential area. We are situated in close proximity to parks and many schools; falling into catchment for local primary schools. We are in close proximity of many bus and train routes as well as having ample parking to ensure your ease and convenience of accessing our facilities.

At Puddleducks we have staff who have trained to be able to provide a Beach School experience for your child on outings, as well as other opportunities to visit the local library and children and family centre. Outings are for our pre-school age group, and provide a unique and sensory experience.

Our daily activities will spark each child’s own intrinsic motivations to explore create and be curious about the world around them. A balance of free play, and adult initiated planned activities provide an opportunity for holistic development for young children, giving them good foundations for the rest of their lives.

The children will get to have first-hand experiences, work together as a team, have their own ideas, opinions and most importantly to have a go and try something new. We explore a range of dance through Diddi Dance sessions, capture life cycles by hatching our very own duckling’s, and many more exciting opportunities throughout a child’s time with us.

Practice at Puddleducks Day Nursery is being led by our Area Manager, Natalie Moir, supported by Barbara Slomka, Lauren Bird and Samantha Spencer.

Natalie holds her BA in Professional studies of Early Years and also achieved her Early Years Teachers Status. Natalie has over 16 years’ experience in Early Years and over 9 years of overseeing our two private settings, another situated in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

Natalie and our team will lead and continue to develop our amazing staff team who are filled with enthusiasm, have a passion for teaching and above all devoted to providing exceptional childcare. No matter what some say, staff are all too easy to come by, but finding the RIGHT staff that really go that extra mile are very special!

We pride ourselves in providing a safe, warm, stimulating environment. We provide the very best nurturing, education and care for all of our children.

At Puddleducks we believe that children can do anything if they are offered the opportunity, allowing children to be independent, confident learners who are content and happy to make their own choices, have their own feelings, thoughts and suggestions.
